We’re all running at maximum capacity.

Maybe you’re the woman who wants meaningful work and a thriving family—and is tired of being told to pick a lane. Girlboss or tradwife. Ambition or rest. A creative life or a pragmatic one. I’m so bored by this false dichotomy, aren’t you?

I believe we were designed (on purpose, with care) to experience so much more. And I think the limits we keep fighting against aren’t a glitch in the system… they’re part of the design. The way up is down.

That’s what More Bandwidth is about: capacity for what actually matters, clarity to cut through everything else, and the calling underneath it all—the thing you were made to do, even when life makes it hard to hear.

I’m Sara—wife, mom of three boys, Type A and yet somehow very right-brained. I’ve built a career out of unlikely pivots, from makeup artistry to a theology degree, from small town non-profit marketing to national leadership development and content at scale… currently through mission-driven organizational consulting and media production. I write about vocation, limits, the slow work of building something of depth while living a full life… and I try to do it without cleaning up the parts that don’t fit neatly into a caption.

This is the long-form home for that: essays with room to breathe, mostly musings on what I’m learning through theological study, observation of culture, classic literature, motherhood, spiritual formation, and the creative process. Lately, I’m really into learning how to leverage productivity and AI tools to help us all live a more creative life (it’s not an oxymoron, I promise!) I’ve written about my first build here, a Chief of Staff agent on Claude Cowork, which you might like to read! 💻🤍

If you’ve found me somewhere else first, welcome. If this is your first stop, even better.

So. More Bandwidth. Let’s figure out what a full life actually looks like — together.
